Tent camping in the Catskills offered countless unforgettable adventures while teaching us crucial wilderness survival skills. We hiked to Artist's Rock, Sunset Rock, Newman Ledge,  Inspiration Point, and Kaaterskill Falls, and kayaked on North-South Lake. Although perhaps the most memorable part of the trip was fishing, as my brother and I reeled in countless bass, perch, pickerel, and trout. I even caught the biggest bass of my life: a 19-inch smallie.
